MOCA aims to hold a Raid every quarter. These events are an opportunity for members to meet at a starting point, then drive their cars to a scenic location – often with a way-stop at some interesting spot – and then enjoy a great lunch with fellow members.
Raid are organised by our Social Director, who has a knack for finding some great driving roads and special destinations – and for choosing sunny days.

Summer Raid – Picnic at Hanging Rock, Sunday 19 January 2025
We will meet at Lorbek Luxury Cars (30 Prohasky street, Port Melbourne) from 8.30 a.m. for coffee and pastries, with departure planned around 9.30 a.m. We then make our way to the picnic reserve in South Rock Road, Hanging Rock, travelling via the Bolte Bridge and Tullamarine Freeway through Bulla towards Romsey. We have again booked the Petanque Shelter, which has some seating and electric BBQ facilities, for our exclusive use. Remember to bring your picnic lunch, and folding chairs/table if you can. There is a fee of $10 per car payable on leaving the reserve – tickets at the nearby kiosk vending machine. In the event of a fire ban, we will contact all members to cancel and reschedule.
