Raids

MOCA aims to hold a Raid every quarter. These events are an opportunity for members to meet at a starting point, then drive their cars to a scenic location – often with a way-stop at some interesting spot – and then enjoy a great lunch with fellow members.

Raid are organised by our Social Director, who has a knack for finding some great driving roads and special destinations – and for choosing sunny days.

Photos from recent Raids are shown in the Gallery.

Autumn Raid – Beeac, Sunday 18 May 2025

We met at Lorbek Luxury Cars (30 Prohasky street, Port Melbourne) from 8.30 a.m. for coffee and pastries, with departure at 9.30 a.m. We then travelled over the Westgate Bridge toward Geelong, taking the Ring Road and then B140 Hamilton Highway towards Cressy. At the Beeac pub, our hosts were Ean and Dorothy McDowell, and after lunch Ean showed us his car collection.

The details of the Winter Raid will be announced in July.
