MOCA aims to hold a Raid every quarter. These events are an opportunity for members to meet at a starting point, then drive their cars to a scenic location – often with a way-stop at some interesting spot – and then enjoy a great lunch with fellow members.
Raid are organised by our Social Director, who has a knack for finding some great driving roads and special destinations – and for choosing sunny days.
Photos from recent Raids are shown in the Gallery.
Raid 43 – Hanging Rock Picnic Reserve, Sunday 18 January 2026
We will gather at Lorbeks (30 Prohasky Street, Port Melbourne) from 8.30 a.m. and have the opportunity to view the fabulous cars on display while enjoying coffee and Italian pastries. We will leave at 9.30 a.m. for Hanging Rock Picnic Reserve where we again have the Petanque Shelter booked for our exclusive use. There is limited seating available in the shelter, so it is better to bring folding chairs and a table as well as your picnic/barbecue foods – there are two electric barbecues available for our use. An entry fee of $10 per car applies, and is payable on leaving the reserve. Payment should be made at the kiosk before departing.
In the event of a total fire ban, we will message all participants and reschedule to a later date. Please David Zeunert know by email if you will be coming: davzeu47@gmail.com
