Raids

MOCA aims to hold a Raid every quarter. These events are an opportunity for members to meet at a starting point, then drive their cars to a scenic location – often with a way-stop at some interesting spot – and then enjoy a great lunch with fellow members.

Raid are organised by our Social Director, who has a knack for finding some great driving roads and special destinations – and for choosing sunny days.

Each year we have one Charity Raid, to support a worthwhile charity nominated by our members.

Photos from recent Raids are shown in the Gallery.

Autumn Raid

The Autumn Raid was held on Sunday, 5 May 2023.

We started the day at 8.30 a.m. with breakfast at Brunetti’s in Lygon Street, Carlton.

We then drove from Carlton to reach “Up the Creek” Workshop at 22 Fitzgerald Close, Castlemaine around 11.30 a.m., and stayed to 12.30 p.m. We then went on to Five Flags Hotel at 161 Main Street, Campbells Creek for lunch. See photos in the Raids Gallery.
