Raids

MOCA aims to hold a Raid every quarter. These events are an opportunity for members to meet at a starting point, then drive their cars to a scenic location – often with a way-stop at some interesting spot – and then enjoy a great lunch with fellow members.

Raid are organised by our Social Director, who has a knack for finding some great driving roads and special destinations – and for choosing sunny days.

Photos from recent Raids are shown in the Gallery.

Raid 44 – Campaspe Mill Distillery, Sunday 26 April 2026

Our venue for the Autumn Raid was Bill & Helen Coleby’s 1856 bluestone flour mill. The mill has recently been converted into a gin distillery and bistro, and also hosts Bill’s collection of vintage speedway motorcycles and related memorabilia.

During our visit, Bill gave a tour of the mill and explained the distillery process. Gin was available for purchase on the day. We enjoyed lunch at the mill and had opportunities to photograph our cars at this very attractive location.
